Every other year the wunderli clan all road-trips down to California for our reunion. They've been doin it for somewhere round 30 years now and we stay in the same exact hotel they did when they started. This trip is kinda all about traditions-we don't like change:)

So far Tahoe has been a hit! So beautiful, perfect weather, so relaxing. Its so nice cause we don't HAVE to do anything:)

This pic doesn't do the size of that rig justice. Seriously the biggest trailer I've ever seen. So glad we drove it out though - the jet-skis have made the trip!

Such a great trip - only thing that could've made it better was if John was there. Hardest thing being away from him for a week, it's crazy how fast you become a wife ya know? This year, John and I got invited on the annual AWOL (Adults With Out Littles) trip down to my grandparents place in New Harmony. We ate good food, played tennis, ate good food, went hiking, ate good food, went horseback riding, ate good food, and relaxed. Such a nice break from work and school!

My grandparents have built these awesome lookouts on their property that you can hike to, build campfires, and enjoy the view:)

My favorite part are the horses. They have hundreds of trails all over that you can go explore. They have the most beautiful horses.

Last week was quite an adventure so picture overload!

A couple weeks ago, we headed down to our home town Camarillo. I can't even describe how much fun it was to go down just as our family. For the past 9 years we go on family trips all the time, but we are always with other families/friends. I am the first to suggest to bring friends - the more the merrier right? Well not this trip, we went just the Wunderli/Rose/Woodley clan and it was so much fun. It's fun that we're all getting older and can hang out together. We spent plenty of time at the Outlets which have quadrupled in size since we lived there. Whit and Deej found us the hotel right on the corner of the shopping - perfect location:) As much as I love Utah, I don't know how my parents were able to leave Camarillo. There is seriously no more a perfect place:) Some day John and I will live there, I just know it!

John's dad was released this weekend from 10 years of serving as their stake president. All of John's siblings flew out to Ashland to support their dad, and since John and I don't have kids, I got to tag along! It was so much fun! The weather was perfect so we got to enjoy all that Ashland had to offer! We toured Ashland, did NOT drink some Lithia water, went on a motorcycle ride,tasted of the Ashland cuisine,

Yesterday, John's best friend David purposed and let us be apart of it! We went fourwheeling up to this awesome look out and then John and I snuck down to this tree house to set up the scene...

Yes, John filmed the whole thing on the roof with no shirt on to better camoflauge and they had no idea!

After all the excitment, we roasted some dogs and then explored around on the four wheelers until we got to sliding rock. I think our next purchase should definitely be a fourwheeler! Thanks Court for letting us borrow yours!

Such a great ending to our three day weekend.

Last weekend we met up with Ali and Matt in SLC with Kels and Woody and hit up the lanes. It was so fun to get together again and laugh all night. bun in the oven

Yes, it's true! I am pregnant. A few weeks ago I started feeling really sick and it wasn't until my boss mentioned I could be pregnant that I decided to take a pregnancy test just to prove everyone wrong. The only person I proved wrong was myself because the test came back positive, as well as the next three tests!
I always see other girls post pictures of their tests but I was in such shock that the thought never even crossed my mind to keep the little things I had just peed on and take a picture of them.
So far, I've been sick and tired but I'm hoping it doesn't last long. I had signed up for a marathon in May and I'm so close, but I just don't think it would be healthy for the baby. My marathon goal will just have to wait.

John and I are so excited, we can't believe it's really happening. Let the baby planning begin!

What goes down when John leaves town....

John left for a business trip a few weeks ago so I decided to go stay at my parents house for the weekend. We woke up to tons of snow! They told me I just HAD to go skiing with them...so I did. It was such a beautiful day, the only thing to make it better would've been if John was there with us.

After a wonderful day of skiing, we rushed home to throw a "pretty in pink" sleepover party! Yes, I am 21 and still having sleepover parties with all the girls! My parents begged me to have the party at their house, supposedly they miss "hearing" us...go figure. Anyway, it was so fun getting together with everyone, eating yummy food, dancing, painting our nails, waxing our eyebrows (thanks megs!) doing crafts, trying to watch a movie, but falling asleep before it even started... just like old times.

My Grandma Robins is amazing at knitting and crocheting and sewing - you name it, she can do it! Last week, my mom had the girls come over to have a knitting night and learn from her. was beautiful! Aside from waking up at 4 am to see our first iceberg, we were able to enjoy 5 days of beautiful scenery. I didn't get any good pics of whales, but Kriss got some awesome ones so I will need to steal some of those, but we saw whales, penguins, seals, and lots of birds. Here are a few Random Antartic facts:

Holds 90% of the world's fresh water

13,000 ft. deep of water

Only 12 cruise ships allowed a year, and this year may be the last

10,000 year old ice

Icebergs 2 miles long and 200 ft. tall floating in the ocean

And 2/3 of the iceberg is under water

where to start? We were able to go on an incredible trip down to South America with John's parents, grandparents, and aunts and uncles. So many laughs and great memories were created. We are so grateful for the opportunity to go on this great trip. Aside from the GI sickness that broke out, the trip was awesome! Hope you enjoy the pics.

Afterwards, Lance and Diane took us to where the Brazilians were all practicing Carnival. There was a mile of stands filled with 100,000 people at like 11:00 and they were just getting started! Definitely a cultural experience!

It's their summertime in the Falkland islands and we were dressed like this! Can't even imagine their winters!

Ushuaia, Argentina: Ushuaia is the southern most city in the world! We rode this chair lift up to see a glacier and the view was beautiful!

John turned the big 24 on our trip! He made friends with this guy below that would walk around the ship pointing at every guy saying "Your the man!" and "I've got a smokin' hot wife! She's going to melt all the ice! She's the cause of global warming!". On John's birthday he graced us with his presence and kept calling John "Your the birthday man!".

Christmas and Cancun

We had so much fun this Christmas, but it flew by!

My little brother got a new puppy for Christmas - so dang cute. He hasn't decided on a name as of now, but we just call her Lil' Mamma.

My grandparents took 60 of us to Cancun for a week. It was such a great resort with so much to do. We loved snorkeling, kayaking, playing tennis and soccer, swimming, laying out, and being with everyone. We went scuba diving one day in Cozumel and it was incredible. We saw all kinds and colors of fish, sea turtles, eels, and these incredible Eagle Rays.

we were in california. Last weekend, John and I went to visit his sister Kjersten and their family down in Cali. Kjersten always shows us a good time! We went to tour the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier and then we also got to see the Air Show.

We lucked out with Beautiful weather and came home to 40* rain storms. Thanks Kjersten for letting us come visit!

This weekend we got a group together and went 4wheeling up to sliding rock. The water was freezing but felt so good as soon as you got out. The pictures don't do justice to how much fun we had.

We spent the 4th in Oregon and had a blast! Thanks to John's family for showing us a great time. In the four days we were there, we were able to go to the children's museum, get my hair done (thanks Lori!), play tennis and volley ball, swim, play pool ball, run a 5k, go to the rodeo, go to the parade, pick blueberries, and watch the most amazing fireworks set off in Todd's backyard!

To sum things up, we had an amazing time down in California with all the family ~ and miss you all so much, especially all the kids!

We went and stayed on the beach for a few days and then headed over to Chris and Kjersten's who were excellent hosts! Golden spoon was definitely a big hit on my list! (Thanks Chris!)

Christmas has passed and the New Year has come. We had such a great time hanging out with family and friends over the break, but school always seems to come way too fast!

On Christmas Day we were snowed in at my parents but my dad was able to borrow this Razor from work that we had so much fun sledding behind.

We were able to spend a few days up at Sundance with some of John's family. We had so much fun skiing, watching movies, and playing Trivial Pursuit!

Afterwards we headed down to New Harmony with all of my side of the family where we had a blast skiing again at Brian Head and relaxing down at my Grandparents for New Years. Here are a few action shots I was able to snag of John.

About two weeks ago we were able to watch Jenni Woodley run the St. George marathon. She was amazing! We had a blast seeing everyone and missed Brycen and Lori's family. Thank you to Eric and Megs for opening up their house to us! We had so much fun!

This past weekend we snuck away friday night for a quick trip to New Harmony, UT. My grandparents welcomed us in and we packed in as much playing time as we could while we were there!

On the way down, my little sister got sick and threw up all over! I was so grossed out from the smell, and my mom wouldn't stop laughing.

I wish I had better pictures to show how beautiful their place is, but these will have to do!

Well we probably got the worst welcome home ever, a nice storm blew in as we flew back from California. We had a great time, thanks to Kjersten and Chris for putting up with us! We miss everyone already, had so much fun hanging out, going to Disneyland and California Adventure, the beach, and of course getting sunburned! It was so fun being there with Todd and his girls and Carissa and Shawn. Luckily we were able to spend at least one day with Eric and Megs. Good luck to Kennidy and McKinley on their special weekend! Wish we could be there. Hope to see everyone soon!

Wow! I can't believe he was able to pull this off and i didn't even suspect it. What a day! I couldn't have asked for a better surprise. So for everyone that hasn't quite heard yet, this is how it happened. My mom had called me a couple weeks ago inviting John and I on this sleigh ride up The Canyons for dinner inside a Viking Yurt. She said we needed to fill up the reservation so to call Eric and Megs and invite them. I invited John to "my engagement" and then had him call Eric to see if they wanted to go. We met my family that monday for our fun filled family night and headed up on the sleigh ride. It was absolutely beautiful! As we were seated, my dad stood up and told everyone we were here celebrating my birthday. I thought he was trying to embarrass me by having everyone try and say something they love about me. It ended up being so sweet with all the things everyone shared. When it got to John, I still never even considered he would propose. Then he had me stand up and he said how he loved me and couldn't spend a day with out me. Of course it was said with the Woodley charm and completely won my heart! Then afterwards Megs read us a beautiful letter his parents wrote to us that finished the night off perfect. It was such an exciting night, wish you all could've been there. So many memories have been made and so many more to come, and we're so glad to be sharing them with all of you. Here's a few pics from the night!
