Vegas Babay!!!

We went down to Las Vegas last weekend with a bunch of friends. We try to take advantage of any break from our boring life of work and school! We had a blast swimming, relaxing, people watching (wishing we hadn't watched a few people!), and going up and down the strip.

Be Ok

About two weeks ago we were able to watch Jenni Woodley run the St. George marathon. She was amazing! We had a blast seeing everyone and missed Brycen and Lori's family. Thank you to Eric and Megs for opening up their house to us! We had so much fun!

This past weekend we snuck away friday night for a quick trip to New Harmony, UT. My grandparents welcomed us in and we packed in as much playing time as we could while we were there!

On the way down, my little sister got sick and threw up all over! I was so grossed out from the smell, and my mom wouldn't stop laughing.

I wish I had better pictures to show how beautiful their place is, but these will have to do!

Family

John tries to keep me up to date on the economy, politics, and the importance of voting! One hot topic that I feel is so important is Prop 8 going on right now in California.

Even though this is happening in California, it will eventually effect all of us.

I've added a couple videos and links if you want to check them out and increase your opinion on the topic.

missing you

I remembered my camera right at the end of the trip, so i don't have that many pictures. Oregon was so much fun. Thanks to Todd and Lisa for opening their home to us. We wanted to stay forever and avoid the start of school.

Stars and Campfires....
So funny! Everytime we're all together, we always get free entertainment from Dave whether we're ready for it or not:)

Horizon has Been defeated...

Well we probably got the worst welcome home ever, a nice storm blew in as we flew back from California. We had a great time, thanks to Kjersten and Chris for putting up with us! We miss everyone already, had so much fun hanging out, going to Disneyland and California Adventure, the beach, and of course getting sunburned! It was so fun being there with Todd and his girls and Carissa and Shawn.  Luckily we were able to spend at least one day with Eric and Megs.  Good luck to Kennidy and McKinley on their special weekend! Wish we could be there. Hope to see everyone soon!

Breathe in and Breathe out

March 31, 2008

Wow! I can't believe he was able to pull this off and i didn't even suspect it. What a day! I couldn't have asked for a better surprise. So for everyone that hasn't quite heard yet, this is how it happened. My mom had called me a couple weeks ago inviting John and I on this sleigh ride up The Canyons for dinner inside a Viking Yurt. She said we needed to fill up the reservation so to call Eric and Megs and invite them. I invited John to "my engagement" and then had him call Eric to see if they wanted to go. We met my family that monday for our fun filled family night and headed up on the sleigh ride. It was absolutely beautiful! As we were seated, my dad stood up and told everyone we were here celebrating my birthday. I thought he was trying to embarrass me by having everyone try and say something they love about me. It ended up being so sweet with all the things everyone shared. When it got to John, I still never even considered he would propose. Then he had me stand up and he said how he loved me and couldn't spend a day with out me. Of course it was said with the Woodley charm and completely won my heart! Then afterwards Megs read us a beautiful letter his parents wrote to us that finished the night off perfect. It was such an exciting night, wish you all could've been there. So many memories have been made and so many more to come, and we're so glad to be sharing them with all of you. Here's a few pics from the night!

There's lots more to come, so keep checking back for updates!
