My good friend lexi just got married! She looked absolutely gorgeous and I'm so excited for her. Here are a few pics from the shower and the wedding. She also asked me to make her wedding cake, hope you like it! I'm learning more and more each time.

Crazy

is how life has felt for the past couple weeks. Here are a few pics of what we've been up to lately...

I only have a couple pics, but John's been keeping me busy with all of his Ultimate Frisby, Flag Football, and Soccer games.

While Eric and Megs were away, we had so much fun baking! Megs bought the girls their own miniature baking tools that the girls loved!

I attempted and completely my first wedding cake, thanks to my excellent sous chef! I couldn't have done it without her:)

Don't judge too quick, practice makes perfect right? Definitely learned a ton of "what not-to-do's"!

Then, we had an amazing thanksgiving weekend girls trip while the guys headed out on their dirt bikes. I've tried and tried to get them to take pictures when they go, but with no luck...

Last but not least, we made it to the BYU v UTAH game. Go Cougs!

Still wishing

we were in california. Last weekend, John and I went to visit his sister Kjersten and their family down in Cali. Kjersten always shows us a good time! We went to tour the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier and then we also got to see the Air Show.






We lucked out with Beautiful weather and came home to 40* rain storms. Thanks Kjersten for letting us come visit!

Waitin on a Woman...

All I can say is that Brad Paisley is amazing and even better live. Last weekend while the boys went to the BYU game, I got to take my mom to see Brad in concert for her birthday (month!). It was seriously one of the funnest concerts!

My dad got us all tickets for my mom's birthday to go see Keith Urban. He definitely put on a good show, we had such a good time.

The Beginning and the End

Well, summer has ended, and with that comes the beginning of school.  My friends and I throw a Black and White party at the close of each summer, and have been doing it for four years now.  This year we held it in my parents backyard.  Didn't get the best pictures, but here are some from the party.
